Baby girl Zahra Bella Gottschau was born bottom first with Dr. Leeman
(read his article about breech) at 4:42 am on January 14th 2008. Because Midwives in New Mexico are not licensed to deliver breech babies out of hospital, Prarie Rose Gottschau chose to pursue a natural birth down in Albuquerque. After a beautiful labor, Zhara and her mom shared an ecstatic birth and first glance. Looking back, Prarie Rose says "every moment was wonderful and all I see is light. I want every woman to know they have this opportunity."
