Idris Ismail Cabre

A fast labor brought the littlest boy to Ra'ana Bilal Cabre and Ismail Cabre last night in the water at 1:26 am. This super alert baby boy weighs 6 lbs 12 ozs. He has two older brothers Khaleel, age 11 and Salim 2. All three boys were born in the "pink room!"
Congratulations Ra'ana and Ismail. We will miss you!

Bela Rose Knox

Beautiful Bela Rose Knox was born in the water last night, March 26th, at 8:25 pm to her courageous mother Michaela Knox and her papa Shawn Knox. It was an incredible birth in the middle of a howling spring snowstorm. Michaela and Shawn Knox are from Santa Fe. Bela weighs 7 lbs 4.5 ozs and is 21 inches long. They must be one of the cutest families in the world!

Patton Walker Valente

This time Sarah and Brian Valente only welcomed one baby into the world! Patton Walker Valente was born at 12:15 am March 26th. Sarah has given birth to two sets of twins before this singleton was born. Sarah was a VBAC birth. We congratulate you, Sarah and Brian! It was a peaceful birth with lots of laughing!

Quinton Zekiya John Morrison

A beautiful waterbirth last night in the green room! Amanda Morrison quickly pushed out her chunky baby boy Quinton Zekiya John Morrison at 12:57 am. Her two daughters ages 7 and 8 watched astounded! Quinton is 8 lbs 7 ozs and 21 inches long. Another perfect birth at the birth center!

Elisha Martinez

A baby boy, Elisha Martinez, was born at the birth center March 20th at 12:18 am. His parents Estella Naranjo and Wesley Martinez welcomed him with love. Elisha was 20 1/2 inches long and looking forward to all the fun he's going to have fun with his older brother Jeremiah born at the birth center two years ago.

Leland Patrick Scott Lynch

This incredible baby was born this evening at 6:56 pm to a laughing and loving mama Jillian Angier. Leland Patrick Scott Lynch was caught by his dad John Lynch, underwater at home! Leland weighs 7 lbs 8 ozs. He's 20 inches long. Jillian did a fantastically, amazing job. We are so proud of you Jillian. (Jillian also just graduated from our Midwifery program and passed her NARM exam to become a licensed midwife last month.) This baby has a very special place in our hearts forever!

Newborn baby girl from Dixon

With incredible support and calm determination Coralie McNall gave birth to her baby girl in the birthtub in the pink room. Partner Kevin Pearson became an honorary Midwife as he scooped his baby girl up to present to Coralie. The little girl weighed 7 lbs 3 ozs and was born with a lovely head of hair.

Odessa Gaia Rose Jansen

Congratulations to Cheryl Schoenberg and Sven Jansen for the birth of their beautiful daughter, Odessa Gaia Rose Jansen.
Odessa was born on March 7, 2009 at 4:58 am. She is named for her maternal great great grandmother who was from Odessa, Soviet Union, now the Ukraine. Cheryl, Sven and Odessa plan to return to South Africa to live and work in June.
