Alice and Conrad Archuleta welcomed their long waited for baby boy Marcelino Conrad Archuleta at 2:54 am January 20th! Alice's labor was quick and her boy was here!

He weighed 6 lbs 3/5 ozs with a length of 19 inches!

Elizabeth Gilmore Memorial Celebration, Sept 24^th in Taos, New Mexico

There will be a Memorial Celebration of the life and work of Elizabeth Gilmore held in Taos, New Mexico on Saturday September 24th from 1pm to 4pm. It will be held in the grass courtyard on the south side of the Sagebrush Inn, you can enter the courtyard directly from the South end of their parking lot.

Here's what Kyle says, "Here are a handful of photos from Joah's birth yesterday -- a magical and transformative experience to say the least. Although we needed to be in the hospital for the birth (as opposed to at home as we planned), it was truly an incredible constellation of people. A dear family friend, Shanti -- who has known Dillon since birth -- was the OB in charge, and we also had two of our beloved midwives also attend. In the end, we were able to have a water birth in the hospital -- the first one ever in Taos. We are now all happy and at home."

Joah James Tisdel was born at 5:30 pm on Saturday July 30th in the water to Dillon and Kyle Tisdel. He is 6 lbs 6 ozs of pure cuteness. It was such a blessed and perfect experience, even with the change in plans. Again and again we see that Taos is the best place in the world to have a baby!

His parents, Azalea Gusterson and Ra pulled over to the side of the road on Blueberry Hill for the very rapid birth. In the midst of a blustery snow storm and as little Landon Wyatt was born, Claudine DeHerrera exclaimed, "It's a boy!" to her partner, Brian Graves of Tres Piedras. "Now our family is complete, a boy and a girl."
Landon weighs 7 pounds 7 ounces. His grandparents from Antonito, CO arrived soon after the birth with big sister Elke. Grandma had her youngest child in 1987 with Elizabeth Gilmore at the old birth center!
